Endotoxin level: <1EU/mg, determined by LAL gel clotting assay
Expression system: Mammalian Cells
Stability and Storage: Use a manual defrost freezer and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Store at 4°C short term (1-2 weeks). Store at -20°C 12 months. Store at -80°C long term.
Alternative Names: IDEC-152,P5E8,CAS:357613-86-6
Background: Low affinity immunoglobulin epsilon Fc receptor (CD23/FCER2) is a ~36 kDa protein. Low-affinity receptor for immunoglobulin E (IgE) and CR2/CD21. Has essential roles in the regulation of IgE production and in the differentiation of B cells. On B cells, initiates IgE-dependent antigen uptake and presentation to T cells. On macrophages, upon IgE binding and antigen cross-linking induces intracellular killing of parasites through activation of L-Arginine-nitric oxide pathway.
