  • Background: Interleukin-13 (IL13) is a ~15 kDa protein. Cytokine that plays important roles in allergic inflammation and immune response to parasite infection. Synergizes with IL2 in regulating interferon-gamma synthesis. Stimulates B-cell proliferation, and activation of eosinophils, basophils, and mast cells. Plays an important role in controlling IL33 activity by modulating the production of transmembrane and soluble forms of interleukin-1 receptor-like 1/IL1RL1. Displays the capacity to antagonize Th1-driven proinflammatory immune response and downregulates synthesis of many proinflammatory cytokines including IL1, IL6, IL10, IL12 and TNF through a mechanism that partially involves suppression of NF-kappa-B.

  • Flow Cytometry for Anti-Human IL13 Antibody (SAA0382)
    Flow Cytometry

Flow-cytometry using anti-human IL13 antibody.IL13 Transfected CHO cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human IL13 antibody monoclonal antibody (Catalog # HW632107 ,Green Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a FITC conjugated goat anti-mouse antibody (Catalog # MF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer.
